Horse Sales
Over the years Hanna Stud horses have been sold to countries outside New Zealand, namely Australia, USA and Spain.
It is relatively cost effective to export horses wordwide from NZ. The quarantine requirements are minimal, due to our clean, disease free environment.
Our stud deals mainly with International Race Horse Transport (IRT) who run regular flights from Auckland and co-ordinate their domestic transport with Majestic/Interislander Horse Trucks. The Australia based company, Crispin Bennett, also flies from Auckland and Christchurch for TransTasman transportion of horses. We have used this company in the past and have been very impressed by their professional service.
The NZ dollar is generally lower than most other currency, so our prices are very competitive compared to other countries.

Hanna Jerezano
Sold to Sydney, Australia in 2001.
Sire Farino Dam Jovencita III DOB February 1998
Jerezano was sold to Sydney prior to the 2001 revision to leave for Australia later that year. Unfortunately, his new owner had to return to her native South Africa suddenly before she could organise to ship Jerezano to Australia. Hence we decided to retain this lovely young stallion and look for a new home for him in NZ, which he found shortly after with Marti Winn at Winnfarms Spanish Stud in Christchurch. There he has since become a highly successful and pre-potent sire.
